Midnight Rain

It was a long day of cruising around in a new city.
As the night fell, the sky had been engulfed by
dark clouds. Suddenly it started to rain. The childish she was,
she wanted to go out in the rain. Little did she knew
how dangerous that would have been going out at night.
He assured her that it is not safe, yet she still wanted
to go because she had never seen a rain like that in a
decade. She stood by the window and imagined if she
were outside dancing in the rain--free like
she never had been in a decade.
